Yuco Welcomes Rent-A-Center, Hailo and The Kings Bay YM-YWHA

Yuco Real Estate Company, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of three new tenants to its commercial portfolio.
Rent-A-Center, the largest rent-to-own operator in the United States, brings their unique brand to East Harlem with their newest location at 1405 Fifth Avenue at 116th Street. Hailo, Inc., creators of the world’s fastest growing taxi app for smart phones, has leased their first Manhattan storefront location at 663 10th Avenue at 46th Street. The Kings Bay YM-YWHA has leased over 4,500 square feet for its newest location in North Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Rent-A-Center (NASDAQ:RCII), which operates over 3,000 stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, occupies nearly 3,100 square feet in their new Manhattan location at 1405 Fifth Avenue, offering brand name furniture, electronics, appliances and computers through rental purchase agreements that provide an opportunity to obtain ownership of the merchandise at the conclusion of the rental period. 1405 Fifth Avenue was newly constructed in 2009, as part of a three building mixed-use development connected by a three level landscaped courtyard.
Hailo, Inc. operates in 11 cities in Europe, Asia and North America, and has been called the “Taxi Magnet”, offering users the ability to get a licensed cab within 2 taps through the convenience of an iPhone or Android smart phone. Launched in 2010, Hailo expects to expand to other markets including Tokyo, Washington, DC and Barcelona, Spain.
The Kings Bay YM-YWHA at North Williamsburg opened its pre-school at 14 Hope Street (between Roebling and Havemeyer Streets) for children aged 2-5, combining the Reggio Emilia educational and progressive approach with a rich curriculum offering programs in music and art, Jewish cultural activities, and enrichment activities in Hebrew, Chinese and Russian.
